To be involved in such a prestigious project was challenging, but also very exciting for us. We worked for a long time together with the client on the design and the selection of the plants.
The concept was to create a lush artificial green wall but also to avoid any fixed structure. The concept was to create the most natural look of a well-grown artificial green wall, with a mixed variety of leaves of the highest quality.
Additionally, we had to make sure that we adhered to the construction regulations of the airport and provided fire retardant (FR) inherently fire retardant artificial plants for indoors.
It was important to the client to still have the natural look and feel, so all plant materials are produced out of textile material of silk material. We can’t wait for the terminal to open and get the first feedback on artificial green walls.
